Assisting a new media company in writing its business plan, structuring its offering documents and organizing its client list to assist in completing an A round of institutional investment;

Developing a strategic plan, operation documents, organizational structure and funding plan to launch a competitive technology trade association that grew to over 300 member companies and generated an operating budget of nearly $650,000 in only 18 months;

Organized and facilitated the development of a regional early stage venture conference for start-up companies, angel and early stage investors. Led, developed, and implemented a top to bottom transformation of a government agency generating nearly $300M in sales and $75M in contribution to the general fund of a state; tripled the compound average growth rate of revenues; reduced and restructured the staff; conceptualized and implemented an overhaul of the enterprise architecture and data platforms to engineer better decision-making. Produced three successive years of record revenue;

Reviewed the venture capital portfolio of a public-private partnerships and recommended the workout and solutions of the portfolio resulting in recover of over 50% of the principal involved and provided liquidity for new projects; and

Developed and implemented a strategic planning process for a not-for-profit political organization that resulted in a 20% increase in membership dues; improved programming, and meeting attendance. Also worked with this group to develop an alternative venture capital fund involving patient capital and brown-field remediation. The work secured a series of grants from the Rockefeller Foundation in excess of $150,000.
