He is a principal in TGV, LLC a management consulting and capital advisory firm based in the District of Columbia. Mr. Young is the author of Are You Ineffective? Discovering and Resolving the 202 Sure Signs of Ineffectiveness. Authorhouse, Inc. Indiana: June 2007 and numerous other business articles on management, finance, strategy, law, and public policy.

He’s served as President, COO, General Counsel, and in other executive positions since 1990. He has been recruited by organizations of various sizes and at various stages to clarify the go-to-market strategy and also increase operating profitability. Early in his career Mr. Young was tasked with opening noncompetitive markets, completing difficult commercial business negotiations, setting up operations, and delivering on strategic business plans in telecommunications, software, new media and wireless product development. His background and experience includes both domestic and international projects.

Recently, Mr. Young has been the leader of transformation projects and has helped start-ups grow rapidly through venture capital infusions, helped mature organizations reengineer operations for current market opportunities, and government agencies effectively reposition their organizations for execution success. During this period, Mr. Young has helped organizations deliver outstanding results and made presentations to industry leadership groups around the country. For this work, Mr. Young has won numerous industry awards and a reputation for dynamic, organization growth and acceleration. Imbued with a strong sense of community, Mr. Young is a contributor to the YMCA, Rotary Club, and the Business and Leadership Advisory Board of Argosy University.

During the course of his career, Mr. Young has worked with government agencies, Fortune 500 and Global 200 Companies including Exxon –Mobil, IBM, Amtrak, T-Mobile, Fox Sports, Washington Post, Mellon Bank, PNC Bank, Terra Lycos Ventures, GTECH, Scientific Games, Duke Power, Time Warner, MCI and others.

Mr. Young holds an AB in Economics from Princeton University; a JD from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law; and an MS in International Management from the University of Maryland University College, with a concentration in international finance and marketing. His advanced executive training includes attending development programs at Wharton, Stanford, the American Management Association, and the American Society for Training and Development.
